As activists and left-leaners over the last four years decried American exceptionalism, characterizing our great nation as a villain in world history – and even into the present, we knew better.

To accept their contrived charges against our beloved USA required ignoring the proud histories of American heroes, living and dead. They expected everyone to believe implausible claims of ongoing racism, hate, fluid pronouns, and genders. They seemed to be in the driver’s seat with this anti-patriot rhetoric and worldview, aided by the media, which had no problem adapting to this new set of “facts.” Also, in their corner – public schools, staffed by a large number (though not all) of college-indoctrinated educators, eagerly touting gender and sexuality curricula, pride celebrations, deceptive practices against parents, and critical race theory (loosely veiled by other names).

They were loud – deafening at times.

It was so loud that we were tempted to believe Biden/Harris supporters held the majority. A cacophony online and in the press celebrated an open border and the cause of terrorists like Hamas. They protected hate against our own Jewish citizens, promoted anti-parent, child, and family policies, and accused patriots who dared salute or pledge our flag.

Then, November 5th happened.

Lovers of freedom, former Democrat voters, Evangelicals, Catholics, African Americans, Latinos – and women made their voices even louder. Along with a red wave of Republicans, this brought an unquestionable victory and a vocal response to the last four years. Americans have had enough.

Millions who may not have felt brave enough to wear a MAGA hat or sport a bumper sticker were silently but enthusiastically Trump supporters. And they were everywhere.

Silent, only until election day. In that nation-saving moment, they championed the spirit of President Trump as he rose from the stage in Butler, Pennsylvania, historically pumping his fist with the now-famous cry of “Fight, fight, fight!”

With that, Americans seemed to gather a new courage and resolve to secure a return to American greatness. The historic win of the executive and legislative branches (though the House margins are a little slim for my taste) signals a monumental shift away from the destruction of our land and people – back to American patriotism.

This is not the end, but only the beginning of what needs to happen beginning January 20th, 2025. Much is being strategized between the border, DOGE, our military, the educational system, and the economy. Meanwhile, moms stand tall. That’s why we are sharing four keys to bringing back American patriotism in 2025.

Stay the Course with Patriotic Fervor

Like we said, you’ve embraced patriotism all along. Now it’s time to encourage those afraid in the previous climate to show their American pride. Mamas, you know what to do. Wear the gear – your hats, hoodies, and patriotic sneakers and encourage your family to do the same.

Keep supporting the patriotic parallel economy. Shop with vendors who share your values. We’re not saying you shouldn’t spend outside of that alternative marketplace; we still need our communities’ readily available goods and services. Just continue to support those who risked it all to stand against woke ideologies like DEI to build businesses that give you an alternative.

Remember places like Public Square, a virtual mall of retailers who share your patriotic fervor. Then there are the entertainment options like Bentkey and Yippee TV (for kids), Great American Pure Flix, Angel Studios, and Daily Wire. Rising news and social media outlets like Rumble, Truth Social, Tucker Carlson Network, and Blaze TV could see marked growth during the next four years as the mainstream media gasps for breath.

As you encourage patriotic businesses and public expression, know that the floundering mainstream media will be fighting hard against the rise of pro-American sentiment. If they continue true to form, they will promote half-truths and images meant to mislead, especially with issues like firing bureaucrats and beginning the deportation of criminals. Don’t fall for any of it. They will attempt to villainize this administration and all who support it. Their ratings tanked in the weeks following the landslide, so they’ll probably be willing to do or say just about anything to survive.

Tell the Stories of American Freedom

 Continue to educate yourselves and your families with the great stories of our nation’s founding and history. From the miracles seen by George Washington and the patriots who opened the door to begin our republic to our astronauts who left footprints on the moon, even to the development of the internet and the smartphone – don’t miss a thing!

Thousands of accounts of everyday people, politicians, and entrepreneurs fill the book of our history. Each one of inestimable valuable.

We also never want to shrink from the truth because out of our nation’s worst offenses – like the atrocity of slavery – came some of our greatest acts of courage to defeat it. The United States is unique, having fought a great war where hundreds of thousands lost their lives to end that barbaric practice here (even as slavery was still common worldwide). These young Americans gave all for the freedom of those who suffered in bondage and for those in the future who would never have to know slavery’s ravages. Then, it was passed to the next generation to fight for civil rights and push to end discrimination in our land.

Enjoy patriotic movies like 1776, Yankee Doodle Dandy, The Patriot, Sergeant York, Lincoln, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Glory, The Right Stuff, Miracle, and Apollo 13. Did I leave out your favorite? Check out a detailed review before sitting your kiddos down to some of these. Several of these flicks may need to wait until they are older.

Consider a patriotic adventure in your state and beyond. At some point, plan a trek to our nation’s capital to experience the impressive monuments, museums, and historic sites. The path of America has been one of pain, struggle, teamwork, and intensity, and it has been a journey to achieve unparalleled freedom and prosperity. We have seen more built in our short 248 years than other nations that have existed for several thousand. As moms, we have the privilege of giving our kids the gift of understanding history and helping them discover their part in the unfolding American story.

Scrutinize Schools and Speak Up for Your Children

 One of the things Tucker Carlson has said repeatedly referring to the coming Trump term is that “Dad’s home, and he’s pissed.” Maybe we don’t always use that word, but his point is solid. It’s time to speak up for our kids.

Schools have heard your voice at board meetings and parent/teacher conferences during the last few difficult years. The media tried to play you off as crazies who wanted to ban books and hurt poor children who were born in the wrong bodies. Even amid the backlash, moms gained some serious ground in the education system. Now is no time to back off.

We expect a saner climate, hopefully conducive to parental rights and the safety of our children. School choice has grown exponentially, and President Trump has promised to shore up the lack of patriotic education and dropping test scores.

His DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) promises to take a good long look at the Department of Education with Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk assessing its performance. We can imagine things will drastically change in the next few years (if not sooner).

You can do your part by continuing to speak up. Hold teachers and administrators accountable for accurate history and civics. Continue to politely raise complaints and attention when you see gender ideology, pornographic books, and critical race theory indoctrination in your child’s school. It’s time to oust damaging ideologies as we stand for our kids.

Celebrate The USA – In Every Way

The party has already started. We mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. Trump dance parties are rampant, and we can’t seem to stop pumping our fists and singing “Y-M-C-A!” So, let’s not.

Use this time to ramp up your family’s celebration of America. Plan parties for the Fourth of July and plan to commemorate all our nation’s holidays in grand style. Host a cookout and invite your neighbors and friends. Deck the house and yard with patriotic flair, and even consider inviting those who don’t share your enthusiasm to experience a little good old American fun.

Pray for our leaders and nation weekly as a regular part of the schedule for your families. It can help prayer integrate into your kids’ lives so they will readily continue it into adulthood. The Bible reminds us to pray for our leaders: “I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

Patriotism and patriotic expression are back in style. It may take some time and effort to help our nation remember how to celebrate the American spirit; however, we know it’s rising. We are grateful as we anticipate a new dawn for our country, and we must continue to stand for her together as moms!

But we all must admit there’s something clean and fresh about a new year. There’s a renewed feeling of patriotism in the air for 2025!

Ahh, a clean slate – what could be better?

Then reality sets in. We have stuff to do, people to care for, deadlines, appointments, and lists to check off. Then there are the Christmas cookies lingering on the kitchen counter – calling – promising emotional relief.

All joking aside, a brand-new year is filled with promise and hope with the incredible results of the November election. Even with the challenges presented in the wake of 2024’s ever-shifting cultural and political crises, we all look forward to President Trump and Vice President Vance being at the helm in 2025!

Moms, you made a stand last year for your families and our nation – and in 2025, the possibilities are incredibly plentiful. Here are five New Year’s resolutions to help you bring patriotic flair to 2025. Let’s do this together!

1. Resolve to get Involved

Think about where you can get involved this year. I’ve told my kids (who are nearly grown now) that just because it’s easier not to do something – doesn’t make that the right choice. Oh, sure, it’s the path of least resistance – but the easy road doesn’t lead anywhere.

We get it; you’re busy. It’s the American condition.

So, be particular. When you resolve to get involved, choose things that will enrich and inspire you, help you navigate the stresses of our cultural climate, and give you what you need to raise your young patriots (or help your grandkids!). We’ve got some great, tested, and true options.

Moms for America Groups – Want to hit the ground running in 2025? Watch our virtual Cottage Meetings to experience inspiration and stories from our own Kimberly Fletcher, Founder and President of Moms for America.

Then, get to know like-minded patriot moms by joining (or starting) a Cottage Meeting in your area. We’ve got the how-tos and the tools to make that a reality. Or, if you’re not up to starting from scratch, join another group of mamas who are already rolling. It’s a great place to learn, make friends, and together reclaim and protect the America that is our birthright. Be sure to watch for the Cottage Meetings for Teens coming early in the year!

If you’re living in America and you’re not on an adventure – you may not be doing it right.

We’re only half-joking. America was built by inspiring adventurers, and the stories of these pioneers and patriots dot this country from coast to coast. Make plans…one trip or even several smaller junkets to experience the story of America. The only way to make this one happen is by being intentional. Start with some day trips in your own state. If you are ready for an ambitious adventure, plan a trip to Washington, DC, Philadelphia, or Boston. One of our blog posts delves into what you can expect from this exciting interactive map.

3. Resolve to Be a Mama Bear

Name-calling and accusations fly freely regarding parents expressing outrage at pornography in schools, gender ideology, and racism pushed on innocents. We’ve seen our kids bombarded with transgenderism, belittled for believing in God, and silenced by those who equate traditional American family values with violence.

If we learned anything from 2024, moms are a force for good in this nation. They have stood against a tide of sexualizing children, encouraging hate between the races and pop culture’s apparent intent to promote anti-American thought in many forms.

Moms said, “no.”

They are your kids and don’t belong to the school, city, or government. You have rights, and your children have rights.

The truth is on our side, mamas. We want to help you with the challenges you face in your communities. Check out our free downloadable booklets outlining important issues such as:  Parental Rights, Grammy Guide, Gender Confusion, Social Emotional Learning, Critical Race Theory, and our all new Family Lobby Guide. 4. Resolve to Celebrate America

Set the pace for patriotic fervor in your family and community.

Fly your flag and drape your home in red, white, and blue to celebrate patriotic holidays. Throw parties and cookouts and if anyone looks at you like you’re weird, offer them a sparkler to join in the fun.

You can make a difference with all the bad news that seems to emanate from TVs, social platforms, and often our classrooms. Bring back patriotism in a big, big way this year when you resolve to celebrate America – starting with your family.

5. Resolve to Strengthen Your Faith

There’s a reason why the founders put faith and biblical principles front and center. God’s truth is sprinkled throughout the pages of our earliest documents: the Mayflower Compact, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Faith is etched into stone throughout our nation’s capital and the cities and towns that helped birth the USA. Though left-leaning professors and activists do backflips to remove these things – it doesn’t change the actual history or the facts. Faith has always been crucial to the success and freedom we enjoy as Americans.

Our nation’s faith begins with you and ripples out to your kids, family, church community, and so on. Consider how you can resolve to strengthen your faith this year.

Key Elements to Bring Faith Home:

The Bible: If you’re not already, engage in a daily Bible reading plan. There are dozens – maybe even hundreds to choose from, apps, and many study helps to get you started or to try something new. Pro-tip: Don’t beat yourself up if you miss a day – do the reading of the day you’re on. Also, if a particular passage jumps out – feel free to stop right there – ponder that more deeply to discover what God is showing you.

Invite your family to join by having weekly (or daily) devotions at the dinner table. Pray with your kiddos before bed, and make sure they have their own Bible or Bible storybook if they don’t yet read.

Prayer: Daily prayer is crucial. If your prayer life isn’t all you think it should be, don’t fret – it’s easier than you think. Prayer, in essence, is a conversation between you and your Creator. He’s a father to you – the perfect father, and He cares about you and everything that concerns you. So, carve out times to hit your knees for earnest intercession, but pray throughout the day.

You know how your little one bursts through the door, bringing you a flower (or weed) clutched in a grubby hand? You loved it, and as a mom, you see its beauty. God feels that way about you – so run to Him all day long.

See someone who’s hurting? Breathe a quick prayer – don’t save it for later. The Bible teaches us to “pray without ceasing” (I Thessalonians 5:17), so don’t stop conversing with God. Thank Him throughout the day – and teach your kids to do the same. Over time you and they will develop an intimacy with God that will carry through the good and bad times in life.

Church: According to the Bible, the church is the Bride of Christ, and she’s essential and beloved. It’s the people, not the building, but church is crucial to raising your children in the faith of our forefathers.

Current data reveals that many stopped going to church in 2020 – and a good chunk of that number never returned. It was a pandemic but also an excuse for some to say, “Going to church doesn’t make me a Christian.” While that statement is true, it takes more than ticking off the church attendance box to be a believer. It minimizes the value to families who engage in the larger faith community. Attending church is a way to honor God, publicly convey your beliefs, and connect with others.

The current culture of vitriol and hatred toward traditional values and patriotism thrives when we are isolated. So, get involved with our groups and find yourself a good church. Make it a priority – and don’t forget to volunteer once you’ve found “the one.” Share your effort and gifts there and help your family get planted with others who share your faith.

2025 is yours, mamas.

The pages of this year are waiting for you to make your mark.

Together we can lock arms as moms and march forward to lift the freedom-loving, patriotic values that made this country the greatest in the world.

Together we can save this nation and usher in a resurgence of patriotism, liberty, and hope for the next generation of young Americans.
